FOREZ s.r.o. history

The FOREZ company was founded in 1996 when six partners decided to establish a small tool shop. At the beginning, besides deliveries of simple dies or injection moulds, we became a supplier of designing documents for more complex moulds and dies. This fact had helped us to enhance our position in the field of tool making in subsequent years. Gradually an idea had developed to become a more comprehensive supplier. That is why we started series deliveries of stamped metal parts as early as two years after foundation.

With the growth of the automotive industry in the Czech Republic, the company further developed and grew, and strengthened its position. We had gradually met requirements of more demanding customers, fitted our facilities with more productive machinery and improved the company system. This allowed us to be certified according to the TS 16949 standard, what later on proved to be an important step for winning other customers. In 2006 we continued more than 50 years old tradition of plastic production in the Lanškroun region, and through the purchase of part of Tesla Lanškroun facilities, later Orpa a.s., we added deliveries of injection moulded plastic parts into the offered portfolio of services.

Also the enthusiasm and courage to embark upon more complex stampings, mouldings and projects have been of great help in the development of FOREZ . With the deliveries of metal components injection embedded or mounted in plastic parts we started to become a more comprehensive supplier. Metal-plastic deliveries from one place, with one competence and responsibility, are the fact that has moved us from broad spectrum of competitors into a pool of system suppliers acting for leading multinational companies. More complex manufacturing methods forced us to start dynamically develop automation in series production, as this is the only way how to meet our customers’ demands.
